FAA Part 141 Private Certificate
The FAA Private Pilot Certificate course is the entry course for all pilots, whether you be continuing on to an airline career or wishing to remain as a recreational pilot this is the first course we all undertake. During your training you will learn the basic skills involved in maneuvering an aircraft, navigation techniques as well as basic instrument flying skills for flight in day visual meteorological conditions. Training is normally conducted in a single engine aircraft.
FAA PPL Eligibility Requirements
- Be able to speak and understand the English language
- Hold a current FAA class III medical certificate
- Pass a FAA written examination with a score of 70% or more
- Pass an Oral and Flight test with an FAA Flight Examiner
During this fully structured course of training you will learn the ground theory behind why a plane flies as well as the practical theory on how to fly it. Your flight instructor will guide you through the maneuvers as per our approved syllabus with your progress charted throughout.
During this course you will receive the following training:
- 35 hours flight instruction (20 hours with an instructor)
- 20 hours ground school
Based on a full time course of 6 days a week training you will need 3-4 weeks to complete this course.
