Naples Air Center offers both types of FAA training, FAR Part 61 training and FAR Part 141 training. Both Part 61 and 141 syllabus's conclude with the issue of the same USA FAA Pilot qualification. The differences are explained below.
If you already have flight experience or are unsure of which program is best for you our sales staff will be happy to help your decision on which training program to enroll under.
Part 61 Flight Training
This type of training is best suited to the person who wants to train for one licence at a time, at their own pace.
NAC offers Part 61 training to all licence levels.
Part 141 Flight Training
Part 141 flight training is a more regimented type of training. Under part 141 courses you will be required to undertake Ground Theory Instruction as well as Stage checks. Higher standards are present in these courses.
NAC is approved as a FAR Part 141 Flight Training School by the FAA. We recommend this type of training for pilots needing to complete their pilots licenses in a short time frame, and within a set schedule.
